Practical.
Our residents want local government to do more and spend less. My goal will be to lessen spending and find innovative ways to communicate and respond to the public. I believe that technology is the key to this plan. As technology advances more of our services will be available on-line. This may diminish the need to hire more employees as our services to the residents of Martin County continue to grow. The expense of updated technology will be offset by the increased efficiency of this office.

Trustworthy.
The Tax Collector is charged with the duty to collect and distribute money for Martin County. The Tax Collector has a personal and professional responsibility for the accounting of this money. Through my almost 10 years with the Tax Collector’s Office and as the current Assistant, I have gathered a vast amount of knowledge. I will use this historical knowledge as a solid base to implement efficient and effective policies. I will constantly review our procedures to assure efficiency and increase our performance expectations.

Responsive.
As Tax Collector I will be available to answer your calls or sit down and listen. I want the residents of Martin County to know that my door will always be open. Customer service is my number one priority and who better to listen to than the residents we serve. I feel that this is the most efficient way for my staff and I to get the immediate feedback that is so important to us.
